I wrote these words driving north on Highway 52 one spring day when the crops were just beginning to grow. The farms are so beautifully
rich with promise at this time.
This quilt is a part of SAQA's Text on Textiles exhibit which began its tour at the International Quilt
Festival in Houston in 2013.
I used hand-dyed cottons in the quilt. The text was hand-lettered with ink. 24" wide 52" long
